Reporting directly to our Operations Manager, based at our Nantwich site, we are looking for a qualified Sales Administrator to join our team and help us achieve our goals.  You will serve as a point of contact for customers who have queries on products, orders, and deliveries, you will also provide support for the sales representatives.

Our ideal candidate is goal-oriented and has a deep knowledge of customer service best practices.  If you have exceptional organisational skills and draw energy from being part of a busy team, we would like to hear from you!

Your initial training will take place at our Head Office based in Ellesmere Port and we envisage this training to take approximately 2 months (depending on start date), the role will then be based at our Nantwich site.  There will be occasions when you would be required to visit our Ellesmere Port and Deeside facilities.

Duties:

  • Order processing via email or phone
  • Assisting with internal purchase orders for intercompany purchases
  • Processing customer returns & warranty disputes
  • Supporting sales representatives with quotations, either working with the design engineer team or by using the configurator
  • Check data accuracy in orders and invoices
  • Booking distribution and tracking shipment, investigating delays
  • Contact clients to answer queries and obtain missing information
  • Liaise with the logistics department to ensure timely deliveries
  • Maintain & update sales and customer records
  • Develop monthly sales reports
  • Communicate important feedback from customers internally
  • Ensure sales targets are met and report on any deviations
  • Stay up to date with new products and features
  • Liaising with various internal departments to ensure OTIF KPIs are achieved by the business.

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Excellent attention to detail is a must.
  • Experience of working within a Sales Administrator or Sales Support agent role is advantageous.
  • Willing to be ‘hands on’ during training to build products to achieve a full understanding of our product range and technical aspects.
  • First hand experience with ERP software and MS Office.
  • Understanding of KPI metrics.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills is essential.
  • A team player with a high level of dedication.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines.
