What is Connect+?
Rhino Connect+ allows your vehicle’s original equipment reversing sensors to be seamlessly integrated directly into your Rhino Products step. Currently available for our SafeStep™, TowStep™ and TowStep™ duo products.
Connect+ is a highly innovative solution which is compatible with many of Europe’s top commercial vehicles.
Making alterations to introduce an external step with parking detection technology has previously been a time-consuming process, often requiring specialist knowledge, complicated rewiring and of course, added expenditure. Connect+ neatly solves this problem by integrating each OEM sensor into the step via a simple ‘plug and play’ cable.

Rhino Connect+ is delivered to you as a complete kit for successful installation:
-The Rhino Products SafeStep™ / TowStep™ / TowStep™ duo modified with special adapters
-Plug and play cabling and connectors
-4 x panel blanking plugs
Installation is quick, simple and effective. Typical installation time is 15 minutes from start to finish.
How does Connect+ work?
1 – Dismount the OEM sensors from the vehicle.
2 – Click them into place via special adapters and using rear spacers located in the step.
3 – “Plug & play” – reconnect the sensors, with the male plug going into the sensor…
…and the female plug connecting to vehicle’s wiring harness.
4 – Fix blanking plugs to cover the space where each sensor was originally located.
